Web30 Jan 2024 · 60 FPS on 144hz monitor is not the same as 60 FPS on a 60hz monitor, unless monitor has Gsync/freesync. It will feel less smooth on 144hz screen, since you can't divide 144 by 60. Some frames will be shown for 13.8ms, others for 20.8. While on 60hz screen each frame is shown for 16.6ms. Now I'm playing with 144hz and average 100-120 fps and gameplay is very smooth, much better than 60hz and the difference is noticeable.
