However, they don’t quite fit the look of a real DB and are useless for anything beyond practicing unplugged. However, they feel like a real DB since they're essentially a full size bass that was cut off just below the bridge. For a bass that has a very DB like tone, yet is more "space efficient", I'd look into the Eminence line.

With the Henriksen amplifier, I found that I could boost the low end of my Czech-Ease’s voice and emphasize some lower frequencies that could not be heard as easily when I played the bass unplugged. But simply reducing a bout size and overall length does not properly address the flying bassists number one issue which is logistics.
